About
I am passionate about working with somatic ways of healing trauma and have experienced personal healing of early developmental trauma, which has allowed me to be more present for others, to feel more embodied and feel a greater sense of ease in life. I truly find joy in supporting you to develop deeper embodiment and greater self compassion in the face of problems you are up against.
I work from an anti-racist, Anti-Oppressive Practice orientation to my profession, aiming to work as an Ally alongside people I sit with. I am a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community and enjoy supporting people in their self identity unfoldments including those who are navigating their sexual and gender identities.
I bring warmth, genuineness and a sense of humour and joy to therapy. I don't try to fix you - rather - I support the innate capacity for healing that lies within your own physiology! The therapeutic relationship offers a necessary container for re-negotiation of traumatic or overwhelming experiences, thus, a sense of trust and enough safety is integral to this work.

Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR) - Levels 1, 2 & 3 completed
DBR works directly with the brain stem to allow for shock and core attachment pain to be released in an organic, gentle way. This approach can feel safer and more gentle than some other trauma focused interventions as it accessing and processing the shock stored in the body does NOT require memory work or focus on the re-telling of the narrative of the experience. There is a strong focus on accessing the body's innate wisdom in processing and releasing stored shock energy.
